My Robin, My Mother

Updated: Mar 31

I HAD A VERY BEAUTIFUL MOMENT where my mother 'came to me' yesterday, I went out to pick up the paper at the end of the driveway. It wasnt even 6:30 AM and though the light was on the rise, there was still some darkness in the sky. Nobody was in sight. The quiet embraced all of me. I felt peace and a comforting inner joy. In that very moment, I heard one TWEET. I looked up to see if I could see where the bird was perched. Nothing. Then I heard 2 tweets. I looked up again and looked around and couldnt see a bird anywhere in sight. It felt like the sound was meant expressly for me. I even said out loud, "Where are you, I cant see you" THEN, I hear tweet tweet tweet tweet tweet tweet tweet tweet tweet..... and I looked up and said "Mommy, I feel you are near, watching over me, saying hello, and sending your love to me". I got choked up and shed a few tears walking back in to my house, and thanked Gd for a lovely tender moment. Her name was ROBIN. April will be 2 years since she left this earth and went to her eternal resting place.
